حقائق علمية في الدعاء ( الإيمان والاعتقاد)

تشير مقالة مطولة نشرت في محلة تايم الأمريكية Time في 24 يونيو لعام 1996م .
الى إن أكثر من 200 بحث اجري في المعهد القومي الأمريكي للصحة National institute of health وقام كل من الباحثين
الدكتور ليفينLevin و الدكتور لارسون Larson بكثير من هذه الدراسات وتحليل نتائج الدراسات السابقة في هذا المجال , وهما يؤكدان إن معظم هذه الدراسات تشير الى إن الإيمان و الدين لهما تأثير عظيم على العلاج و الشفاء.
فقد قام الدكتور توماس أو كسمان Oxman بدراسة أجريت على 232 مريضا أجريت لهم عملية القلب المفتوح , ووجد إن المرضى الذين استعانوا بالدين أحسوا بالقوة و الراحة من جراء نظرتهم الدينية , كانت نسبة نجاح العملية لديهم 3 أضعاف نظرائهم من المرضى الذين الايؤمنون بدين ولا بحياة بعد الموت.
وقد خضع هذه الدراسة 232 مريضا, توفي منهم 21 مريضا في فترة الأشهر الستة التي تلت عملية القلب المفتوح.
وبين الدكتور Oxman الذي قام بالدراسة إن سبب الوفاة في معظم المرضى كان نتيجة للغط في القلب, وهو خلل في انتظام دقات القلب.
ويقول الدكتور Oxman من الممكن أن يكون للإيمان تأثير مباشر على فسيولوجية الجسد ... وعندما يكون العقل وتكون الروح في حالة متزنة وهادئة فان احتمالية لغط القلب وعدم انتظامه تصبح اقل حدوثا.
وفي دراسة أخرى على مدى 30 عاما وجد أن الأشخاص الذين يؤمنون بوجود الله ويؤدون بعض الشعائر الدينية من الدعاء و الصلاة يتمتعون بضغط اقل من غيرهم الغير المؤمنين ومعدل الفارق في الضغط يفوق 5 ملم زئبقي لذلك تقل نسبة الإصابة بإمراض القلب اقل بنسبة 50%
